Veteran Home Care Benefits

Veteran Aid & Attendance and Housebound Benefits:
Is your loved one a veteran and needs additional care at home? Veterans who are eligible for a VA Pension may be eligible to receive additional funding to help pay for home care. Please check out the following link to the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs for more information.

If your loved one is a veteran and needs home health care, they may qualify for additional assistance from the Veteran’s Benefit Administration. Two types of allowances, Aid & Attendance (A&A) and Housebound, are available to certain individuals who qualify for a VA pension. Each allowance has different conditions that must be met in order to qualify.

A&A is for those who need assistance with daily personal tasks for everyday life or is bedridden or in a nursing home or has extreme vision impairment. The Housebound benefit is for those veterans who are confined to their home based on a permanent disability.

The services of a Homemaker or Home Health Caregiver can help Veterans remain living in their own home and can serve Veterans of any age. A Homemaker or Home Health Caregiver can be used as a part of an alternative to nursing home care, and as a way to get Respite Care at home for Veterans and their family caregiver.

It is at no cost to veterans; 100 percent funded by US government. Call us for additional information at 772-257-0442 or click here to contact us. We will be glad to assist you in applying for these benefits.
